There's nothing quite like getting up with the larks and that's what myself and group of Arragons riders did it on Sunday! As Phil was doing Helvellyn Triathlon, it was a good chance to set out early for a ride up Dunn Fell.
Setting off from the shop at 07:25 after gathering and prepating from 07:15, we headed out via Langwathby and Culgaith. The weather was glorious from the bottom of Knock but the higher we rode, the more it clagged in! The conditions were cold, wet and mega windy as the photo shows!
It was a great triaining ride though, as panic is setting in for Wasdale 1/2 Ironman at the end of the month.
If you want to come out riding with the group, everyone is welcome. It is not organised so is entirely at your own risk. However, regular gathering times are Monday @ 18:00, Sunday @ 09:00 along with other days
