About Team Arragons

Arragon's Cycles has been in the family since 1969 first owned by Grandad - Tommy Arragon, then to Mam & Dad - Mike and Susan Arragon, in 2003 myself and Phil bought the family business and we've been here ever since.  We're incredibly lucky to have a lovely team of staff around us, who for many years, have been integral in the evolving of our business to ensure we remain a valued and important part of the Penrith landscape.

Chris is our Specialist Sales Advisor with a genuine enthusiasm for cycling in general, a deep understanding of bike tech and also human mechanics where he's been offering BikeFit services for over a decade; He's been with us since 2010 when he began working Saturday's.  Norbert works alongside Phil in the workshop and has a thorough knowledge of mechanical and diagnostics for any bike, both keep on top of trends and tech through their ongoing training, he's been part of our Service Centre since 2015 and we are delighted to have his knowledge, understanding & professionalism in the Service Centre.  Isaac completes our team having joined us from work experience in 2020 where he's trained to achieve Cytech Cycle Mechanic Level 2 and is working towards Level 3.

Our service centre is used to dealing with a host of repairs and servicing from all makes and models, we don't just work on the bikes we sell but service all the major brands, although we are part of the eBike Positive Campaign so do not work on illegal eBikes. We take everything personal and as such, work really hard to offer the best service and advice we can to our customers, many of whom have supported us along our journey for years.

We are fortunate to have many loyal customers - who over the years have become friends - from Penrith and the surrounding area along with a lot of people who travel from the North East, Manchester and beyond to support our store to enjoy the personal genuine service that we strive to maintain.

Our website is a reflection of our store so what you see, is what we have available for collection same day.  While we publish our products at RRP, we are aware than in lots of cases bikes & accessories are advertised online at discount and we never want our customers to pay more than they need to.  While we add value through our personal service, genuine advice and convenience of aftersales, we always try and ensure that our customers pay a fair price and are open to a discussion and although we won't join the proverbial race to the bottom, we will always add further value to your purchase.

Our friends at Ast Signs carried out a full rebrand for us in 2023 to mark our 20th Anniversary, making a big point of our history - The fact Arragons Cycles was founded way back in 1969 and has been proudly independently family owned since then. With the new branding, we evolved #TeamArragons - a movement for anyone who wants to be part of a group of positive individuals supporting each other, whatever their endeavors may be.

You'll always receive a warm welcome when you visit Arragons Cycles, from our team, our two shop whippets and if it's Winter, a roaring log fire!  Our coffee machine is always on and we love the fact our little showroom often turns into a meeting point... come see for yourself.
