Introducing the Scott Trail Storm Collection

Scotland’s isn’t famous for its warm or dry climate you say? This was the perfect location for Scotty Laughland to put the new SCOTT Trail Storm collection through its paces.

Kinlochleven on the West Coast of Scotland is one hell of a challenging place to ride and even more so in the winter months. The days are short, the light is limited and the terrain rugged. The mountains stand tall above Loch Leven, once made famous by working aluminium smelter. It’s dark and moody as the clouds linger on the hills above.

Riding up, it’s a steep road to get the lungs burning, you’re thrown in at the deep end, breathing heavily you reach the top and have to pause for a moment just to take the view in.

Dropping in, the trails are rocky, loose and fast. You have to look ahead, plan your lines and you can’t be distracted by the beautiful panorama. A narrow trail paves the way top to bottom with challenging rock features, tight turns and long straight aways. Erosion has been a major factor in the trail formation and with it, comes surface water. They say flow like water right? This would be the perfect location to put the new SCOTT Storm winter line of clothing through its paces.
